A general purpose power supply using switch mode technology to provide excellent electrical performance. The output is controlled by the centre dial and increments in 0.1V steps with a maximum voltage of 12V. The device provides AC and DC power with a maximum current output of 5A, both AC and DC outputs can be used simultaneously provided the combined output doesn’t exceed 5A. The DC is smoothed with low ripple noise and excellent regulation on both AC and DC. The device has a voltage limit lock to limit the maximum selectable voltage. The device has an internal cooling fan to prevent overheating improving the device longevity. The device has protected outputs which trigger under short circuit or overload conditions, these help protect the device and any attached circuit from dangerous conditions. The protection can be reset using the reset button.
The device is lightweight, compact and ergonomic in design to help with storage, transport and use. The cable holder can store the power lead tidily or be used as a carry handle. The device has stacking slots so the units can be stored on top of each other, minimising the storage space required.
